Hui Shen received a doctoral degree from Peking University and subsequently conducted postdoctoral training at Professor Peng Du 's laboratory in the School of Life Sciences, Peking University, supported by the Fellowship of China National Postdoctoral Program for Innovative Talents. She is committed to the research of stem cell totipotency, which encompasses the in vitro cultivation of totipotent stem cells and utilizing them as a powerful model for investigating biological processes and fate determination during the early stages of embryonic development in vivo. Moreover, She also have a keen interest in capturing and culturing totipotent stem cells from multiple species and exploring the universal characteristics displayed by totipotent stages across different species.
