Li Ding is a Ph.D. student majoring in cell biology. He obtained the bachelor’s degree in Biological Science, as well as the double degree in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, at Peking University from 2016 to 2020. And in 2019, he joined Peng Du’s lab and started multi-omics analyses. In 2020, through SLS project, he became a Ph.D. student of School of Life Sciences at Peking University. Multi-omics analyses provide researchers new perspective to solve massive biological questions. Li applies himself to integrating and improving existing bioinformatic tools, developing new analytical frameworks, and mining the biological laws behind the sequencing data. His research interests include but are not limited to:
(1) miRNA dosage control in cancer and early embryo development;
(2) Applications of spatiotemporal transcriptomics in embryonic organ development;
(3) Novel RNA regulation events in third-generation sequencing;
(4) Liquid biopsy technology and its application;
(5) Life cycle of transposonable elements in ZGA stage.
